  • Good American Expands to Macy’s: The Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede-led apparel brand will debut in 36 Macy’s locations with its Spring 2025 collection, growing to 79 stores for Fall 2025 and reinforcing its brick-and-mortar expansion.
  • Middle-Market Move: Macy’s pulls Good American into the middle-market after selling at mostly high-end chains, such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and international luxury retailers like Harrods and Selfridges.
  • Strong Leadership & Business Growth: With $200 million in annual sales, a strengthened executive team and company-owned stores opening in major U.S. cities, Good American is positioning itself for growth.

Good American, the apparel label launched by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, inked a deal to sell in a small number of Macy’s doors starting with their spring collection.

The Los Angeles-based label already sells through the department store retailer’s website and app. However, the move to physical retail continues an overall brick-and-mortar push by Good American over the past year.

The more mainstream distribution at Macy’s brings Good American to 36 locations selling the company’s Spring 2025 assortment. The door count will grow to 79 for Fall 2025. It’s unclear if further distribution at Macy’s is in the cards for the longer term.

Grede, who serves as Good American CEO” called the Macy’s distribution a “milestone” for the brand and “key component” of its retail expansion.

“Launching in Macy’s reinforces our commitment to meeting our customers where they are at, considering we are seeing more and more customers wanting to shop in person in stores,” Grede said in a release. “Macy’s gives us the opportunity to continue to scale the business like no one else fueling the next chapter of our growth.”

Good American launched in 2016 with an aim to sell size-inclusive denim, partnering with Nordstrom for distribution. The assortment  has since expanded as has distribution. The brand is also sold in Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Anthropologie, Revolve and Shopbop. Overseas retailers include Harrods, Selfridges, Frasers, Harvey Nichols and Holt Renfrew.

Growing Business

Last October, the company tapped Paul Griffin to be its president, replacing Shea Jensen in the role.

“As we grow and expand, we want to ensure we have the right people to support us in achieving our goals,” Grede told WWD at the time of Griffin’s appointment.

The executive lends contemporary brand expertise to Good American as the former North American president and CEO of SMCP Group, owner of Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot and De Fursac. Before that, he was president of North America at Ted Baker.

The bolstering of Good American’s executive team comes after its 2023 entry into company-owned brick and mortar with the opening of its Westfield Century City flagship.

Good American followed that up with stores at Fashion Island in Newport Beach and Las Vegas’ Forum Shops at Caesars.

In 2023, Entrepreneur magazine reported the business generated annual sales of $200 million.
