The revitalization of the former Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel building will move forward with Tiffany & Co.’s proposed plans for a flagship on the famed luxury shopping street.
On Thursday, the Beverly Hills Planning Commission approved plans for the three-story building at 360 N. Rodeo Drive.
Plans call for the 30,468-square-foot building to be turned into a boutique and restaurant for Tiffany. A rooftop buildout would be reserved for important clients, private events and video shoots, according to planning documents.
The project’s advancement comes after five years of the building sitting vacant following the close of the Luxe hotel in September 2020.
Tiffany & Co. parent LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton paid $200 million for the building in 2021.
The planning commission’s decision serves as another win for LVMH as it asserts its presence on the luxury shopping district at a time of major development within the city.

Mega Flagships
LVMH has invested more than $900 million in Rodeo Drive real estate over the past decade.
In September, the planning commission approved plans for LVMH’s Louis Vuitton flagship store, which will take up a whole block on Santa Monica Boulevard. The massive Frank Gehry-designed project sits between Rodeo and Beverly drives.
With two flagships underway, LVMH is rewriting the rules on luxury retail and what experiential can mean for its stores.
The Louis Vuitton project, which is expected to be completed in 2029, boasts over 45,000 square feet of retail across four floors. VIPs will have their own dedicated shopping space, which would also serve as an area for invite-only events and product launches.
Separately, another over 24,000 square feet will serve as a museum and exhibition space with its over 6,000-square-foot gift shop, cafe and 150-seat fine dining restaurant.
The much-watched Louis Vuitton concept will open after Tiffany, which is expected to see construction start in February and a June 2028 completion.
